I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Technical University of Munich, and a business mentor with internationally gained experience in Economics and Management. I defended my PhD thesis on “Venture Capital and Institutions” and was awarded with PhD degree in Management and Engineering from Politecnico di Milano (Italy). In addition I have been a visiting researcher at Utrecht University School of Economics (U.S.E) for 6 months.
My research interests revolve around: innovation dynamics in high tech sectors, entrepreneurial finance and VC exit routs, technology acquisitions and recently circular economy.
Some of the peer-reviewed journals that published my work include Journal of Economic Surveys, Small Business Economics etc.. I have also contributed in several edited volumes and policy briefs.
I regularly participate and present at top academic conferences (AoM etc.) and am invited at several events (TUM Incubator etc.).
I have been acting as a consultant within startup communities, both in developed and emerging countries. I am co-founder of UK School and MIA Kopshti – and have a strong desire to link my scientific knowledge with the business world.
